About Finca Morgenbrise

Finca Morgenbrise is a permaculture farm and nature reserve in the cloudforest of Pacto - Saguangal, Pichincha, in northwestern Ecuador.

Our Animals

We raise cattle, pigs and sheep on open pasture, stress-free and without antibiotics or hormones. Animals are slaughtered on the farm only as needed, always one at a time — that's why our cuts of meat are available in limited quantities.

Permaculture & Nature Reserve

The farm sits embedded in a cloudforest nature reserve. We work with the land instead of against it, combining smallholder farming with conservation.

Partner

We work together with Fundación Mingai, an Ecuadorian non-profit organization (founded in 2006) specializing in wilderness first aid training. Their WAFA/WFR recertification courses (Wilderness Advanced First Aid / Wilderness First Responder) take place on our grounds.
