Wilderness first aid at Finca Morgenbrise

Finca Morgenbrise hosts multi-day hands-on courses run by Fundación Mingai — an Ecuadorian non-profit organization (founded in 2006, based in Quito) specializing in wilderness and remote-area first aid training as well as environmental education.

The courses take place right on our grounds in the cloudforest — a realistic setting for hands-on training away from civilization.

Course offerings

Fundación Mingai offers, among others, the following courses, which run at our farm as multi-day hands-on programs:

• WAFA (Wilderness Advanced First Aid)
• WFR (Wilderness First Responder)
• Recertification courses for both programs

These courses are aimed at people who want to be able to respond safely and competently to medical emergencies in remote areas — for example, guides, outdoor professionals or rescue personnel.
